Hey y'all! I'm Kim from Brooklyn

Post by kimfraczek » Wed Jun 15, 2011 8:26 pm

I'll be on the playa for my first time this year... filled with supa glee.

Not sure what to expect, and I want to leave it that way ((not in self-preparation mode, but experience mode)) planning to do a little glass flame working to give people as gifts, spin some fire poi, play a little ukulele and would love to meet some other tango dancers! But if none of that happens, I assume it's going to be gorgeous anyway.

Looking forward to the sunsets! :D

I take it it's pronounced "frach ek" or some such.

Your going to want to poke around the pages regarding fire if your planing on preforming with fire, or work with glass on playa. Here is a good starting point.

Welcome, and such.

Welcome, so glad you could join us! I love to dance, I usually dance with really long ribbons. I'm not an experienced Tango dancer, but wouldn't mind learning a few moves ;)

Cheers!

Kim, last year I came across a dance club camp called something like Tango and Blues. Near Center Camp, on the 7 side. :D

Hi Kim and welcome!

I'm a first timer as well and I regret with deep despair ever leaving Brooklyn.

And tango sounds fun.

I'm a first time burner too - Welcome! :)

How are you getting there? Thats my biggest worry, I still haven't figured it out! (i'm up in Westchester, not sure if I should try to drive so I can bring my bike or whether I should fly and hope that someone will take pity on me)
