Went to a bubble war in pershing sqaure, small turn out but fun to see all the bubble makers going full steam at the same time, the little kids adored it.

oh and made progress on sanding rust off the pedicab

tons more to do....busy busy busy ( best magician from frosty the snow man voice)

I resumed my pushup regimen today (after a long decline) so that I would have a chance in hell of lifting my disassembled shade structure. (Two army duffles worth of steel! Plus the Staples box of rebar. ...And a big roll of shade cloth.

)

Sometimes the ways in which I use the Burn as motivation for self-improvement is a leeeetle embarrassing.

But whatever works, I guess.

Do you have any pics of your pedicab?
Im in the process of building one.
Going to tow it behind a trike. I think it'd be more stable while pedaling and pulling it.
Im not sure how it'd pull behind a regular bike although i.ve seen videos of homemade ones pulled behind a 2 wheel bike on youtube.

I'm getting my truck back tomorrow, yay! Tranny was rebuilt w all kinds of sturdier new parts installed. They say bulletproof, I'll go with 'bullet-resistant'

I'll take pics today, ours is an older commercially made one that used to belong to a fleet in Ocean Beach Ca. The guy asked if we we're going into business and we said no Burning man he spakled and smiled hahaaha

Well I've had an old Pakistani vest in the back of a closet for 30 years, so, tonight I got it out & sewed some EL-wire on it for him.

My kids were so impressed, they made a movie for him.

Sweet Blinkage, MDF! I have yet to play with el wire... maybe for next year.

o.k., I just ordered another coffee maker. It's a harmless obsession, I can quit whenever I want.

I am not even sure how it works. I searched for a while, and every single return on it never said how it works. I think it's like a stove top espresso maker, with water in a lower chamber, getting steamed up through the coffee and out the pipe? It was super clearance so I thought I'd just find out.
Made by Esbit, it comes with a little solid fuel stove. I think it will work with an alcohol burner too.

Over the last couple days, I've stripped down my bicycle to fix/paint/replace stuff, got a nice big box of blinky crap from extreme glow, and picked up a 24 pack of sugarfree rockstars..the big box store here had them on sale for a buck a piece.

I use that same brake controller and I have never used a better one. Most auto parts stores carry a self resetting breaker that you will need to wire in to the system. It is inexpensive. The installation instructions will tell you where and how. Mine is right next to the battery on my continually hot battery to controller wire.

Does that go on the end of the muffler? Whats the Lubrication for?

Or do I use that to lube the piston stroke during hot and heavy electrical sessions?
