Amazing vintage Ladies leather jacket

Post by AntiM » Mon Jun 20, 2011 1:58 pm

I picked this up in a thrift shop, my teenage dream jacket. The Western style fringed suede jacket, fringe on the arms and yoke (front & back) and pockets and bottom. Very Davy Crockett or Daniel Boone. Doesn't fit me worth a darn.

From Sears Leather Shop, says size 18, but it is definitely a junior miss 18, 70s style. I'd say a woman's 14~16 in current sizes. Snaps down the front. Fits MyLarry but the sleeves are far too short on his lanky frame. I'd say a 23 inch arm length.

Free to a loving home (meaning you aren't going to cut it up for scrap, it is too vintage not to preserve it). Shipping should run $10 or more, it is not a light item.

Anyone channeling their inner hippie? Or cowboy?

I actually had the matching boots back in the 70s. I'd have killed for the jacket. Well, not killed, but I would have preformed slightly unnatural acts.

wow that sounds like a very cool jacket and I just bought some fringed moccasin boots. Do you think a size 38 DD or so would fit?

Maybe? I'm a 40~42 C and it is tight over my breasts. I can't snap it around my ribs. I could lay it out and measure it if you want.

no that's okay, if it is a little tight I will wear it open (probably would anyways) and it will just be one more incentive to losing weight. I will take this off your hands then. I can send you cash or a money order for the shipping or however you would like.
