Having fun and getting ready for more

Post by Random23 » Wed Jun 22, 2011 3:57 pm

So this will be my first burn and I am having a great time getting ready. In the last few years I have made friends with many burners and all of them have some form of advice. The first thing I wanted to know was how best to go. Theme camp, RV, etc. Finally someone I just met told me to just go by myself and then you would not be at the mercy of others time tables. I loved it! and decided that is how it would be.
So now I am going through the forums, websites, and back of napkin lists to compile all the things I need. I love the planning part and realy love shopping yard sales so I think I will do alright. When I get there I already know a few dozen people and with 50K more out there with me I won't be alone.

Thanks for all the great advise I have gleaned so far.

Welcome Random! Or do you prefer 23? Or R-23 like the refrigerant which is still an HFC, which is pretty much the little sneaky just as bad brother to R-22?

Sounds like you have it all figured out! Another 'stealth virgin'!

I think I'll use it. Could be shortened to just R, said more like Aaarr when drinking. :D

Another thing crossed off my list. I should have signed on weeks ago, I would be done by now.

Hey there, welcome to eplaya!
Elderberry

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me
