Flashmob wedding

My wife and I have decided to renew our vows at BM this year. We were thinking the temple would be great for that. We've also thought that it would be really great to do this as a flashmob with as many people involved as possible. Maybe something simple like forming a big circle with the person performing the cermony and the groom (meaning me) in the middle and the bride entering from the outside of the circle.

Any thoughts?

I like the idea, not so sure on how it would mesh with the location.

Temple is a pretty solemn place.

And well, I don't know how you're going to let everyone know there is a flash mob. Even if you could get it in the WWW, it's hardly "flash" if everyone knows days in advance. And then there's the Playa Flakey Factor, never to be discounted.

And really, you can do a flashmob any time. You're lucky if you get married half a dozen.

The "mob" was intended to be the others in attendence. There's time to give it some thought obviously and maybe "The Man" would be a better location. Just kicking around the idea at this point.

i think it would be awful to get married around the temple...the ultra-sad energy that emanates, the quite sobs of people. go for the man.

over the years I have seen a few Weddings at the Temple, and why not, Births, Weddings and then Death are all held with in Temples.
Burning Man's Temple is for everybody.
I have seen some wed at the edge, one yr a small nook served as the altar for many weds.
Saw a Divorce one year, it had lots of humor and made for lots of smiles, which is a good thing.

The Temple vibe is not where I would do it either. If its day you could probably get into a dome. Ask BMR to plug it on air, but their directions would be two doors down unless you improve on this

I love weddings! Could care less about attire, deco, music. There's just something about seeing two become one that is blissful beyond belief.
If you want to do it then you should. Do it in the place that you both really like, temple, man, theme camp, or a nice bar.
