!!! I eat edible fruitcakes.
Mom always thought me odd for eating Grandma's cakes a handful at a time, nom non nom.

I've always wanted to make a gummy bear fruitcake with bits of those orange wedge candies too. And jujubes. Maybe some mike n ikes's as well.

I've grown up with ambrosia (don't get much more awesomely Southern than my family), never seen it made with jello or any sort of gelatin. Ambrosia isn't a jello/molded salad.

I was hoping to make pickled eggs and okra and pimento cheese for Raiders' Night, but since I'm flying it won't be happening.

I don't expect to drag anybody back to my tent, the line will already be forming outside it when I get back.

ETA: fixed a spelling error and fresh made fruit cake, more like a spiced cake, is pretty good. I'll add that to the list of things I would bring if I could.

Mom always made ambrosia with shredded coconut, marshmallows and tangerines mixed with some kind of creamy stuff,,,, sour cream maybe?

I always ate my step father's fruit cakes. Since visiting Italy, I fell in love with PAN FORTE (sp?) which is a small round cake with lots of dates and nuts in it.

So CfM??? you have a permanent glory hole in your tent?

Correct, sour cream. I've had versions with mayo - Duke's, of course - and Cool Whip. Not a fave of mine, but a favorite of my wonderful father's.

I have a permanent Glory Hole wherever I go. 8)

CfM, if you're nice, and I get another GHVIPP (glory hole VIP pass) I'll bring some more of that local Salsa that you like so much, and some of my home made marinated nibbles.
What other people think about you is none of your business.

IIRC, is there,,,,, was there not a picture of CfM with "Glory Hole" on her chest? Don't remember if it was actually ON her chest or a sign,,, but pretty sure she was rather drunk at the time.

For someone who claims to be shy, you do provide a plethora of wonder and fantasy.

I once forgot a batch of fudge under the passenger seat of the cargo van. It was totally intact at the end of the week. So we ate it. :)

Oh crap. Now I have to return all these mini bottles of sake. I wouldn't have minded if the sparkle ponies fell for it, but every time they got close One Eyed Dick tried to javelin them with an umbrella.
