Cali Native, BRC Virgin

Post by jamaisvu » Sat Jun 25, 2011 12:09 am

I'm a first-timer born and raised in West Marin and recently graduated from school in Southern California.

I have friends here and there who are going, but no specific camp plans. I really want my first burn to be comfortable and enjoyable and I'd love to spend time with people who are adventurous and want to take in all BRC has to offer.

Any first-timers and/or veterans who want to hang out with a cool newbie? I can cook and make you laugh. In addition, I'm a filmmaker and will be bringing my camera down to capture some memorabilia which I'd be happy to share with the community.

Getting very, very excited over here!

Much peace and love,

Emma

"Comfortable" and "adventurous" may be mutually exclusive.
And never take video of people and put it on the net without permission.
Welcome aboard, have fun, and don't get freaked out about the fact we play a little rough on the board.

Hi jamaisvu!

If you want a chance of being comfortable, read the survival guide:
http://www.burningman.com/preparation/e ... index.html

Favorite comforts include: desert military goggles, lip balm w/ SPF, preservative-free artificial tears, lemon juice to counteract the alkali on my skin, rich lotion, & more socks and underwear than any sane person needs. And I really like my camping cot, though I could survive without it.

Hey there, welcome to eplaya!
Elderberry

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

No worries. I've read the photographer's guide multiple times, so I think I've got it covered. Thank you! Getting more excited by the day...
