I still want to donate to your burner packs, but I'm STILL waiting for my fiance to clean out his plethora of blue cubes full of camp equipment. He has about 5 times more than we need; but he's a terrible procrastinator on getting stuff done.

As the weather gets nicer he'll get on it again. I hope to have some good stuff to bring over to you in Benicia, since you're so close!

This sounds ace! I am an international burner coming from England, and last year there was a lot of expense laid out for stuff i and my friends couldn't keep.

We built a hexi-yurt and then gifted it at the end to some folk camped near us (which we were happy to do as our contribution to BM), but all the cups, plates, stoves and blankets etc were an issue for us. To be able to use/reuse and return is a great idea.

I also like the idea of donating money towards hexi-yurt materials so that hexi-yurts could be used and reused by international burners each year,

The main question would be the acquisition, transportation and storage of everything until the next Burn.

Is that a ridiculous thing to suggest?!

I don't know if these would be too bulky, but I have some hospital mattresses, foam with the zip on sleeve, like trucker mattresses.
I could make a pallet or two.
Maybe you could find someone deadheading your way?

Let me know if you can use them.

can they be rolled up? If they're anything like what I had in my sleeper, they should. All the owner Ops I know are local. Thats also a long way to deadhead...let me ask around.

These are bulkier than that.
I can measure.
I would say no to rolling up.
These are all hospital grade, fire resistant.
I could carry seven typically between the fenders of the ranger, edgewise.

You would only need to find someone deadheading with enough room for a pallet or two.
Little weight, but bulky.
Maybe a special trip someone is making?
My friend occasionally makes long runs for militaria.
The truck broker forums often have people looking for loads or trucks.

I figure too much bulk for you, but great camp beds.
Places near you will be cycling these out too, but hard to catch.
Maybe you'll just want some for your own use?
Great for spare beds too.

This is cancelled, for this year. Unless anyone else wants to take up a couple packages. All the stuff I've collected, so far, is in impound. It may be possible to ship it to the playa. But it looks like Ill be missing 2011. My apologies!

I don't want to abandon other burners. I will do all I can, to see the gear I've accumulated is used to help them.

We might be able to be a drop off/collection point on playa, as Hushville and my camp are rather simple to find. We could set up a tent as a distribution spot. If I have anything leftover from y NoCostCo (regional project), I could throw that in.

I do have two people kind of relying on it. I'm ok for stuff and to be honest even i fi wasnt i suspect would be fine sleeping on random couches when i finaly crash.
I did however say o would help ninzy and abid out if i could (they seem to be intimidated by eplayans)

If I can get ahold of my stuff, I will make sure to let you all know, and will make sure it finds its way to the playa. I have a bunch of tarps, dust masks, and other stuff. Thanks to everyone who's contributed, and I do not want that gear to go to waste.
