No. The real street names are waiting to be unveiled on Monday when the gate opens. For the time being this will suffice for people seeking to set up camp before the event.

But it was the planets in '99 right?
Yeah, I'm pretty sure it was. But the streets weren't actually named after the planets. They were named after a series of somewhat famous streets here in San Francisco that coincidentally just happened to be named after the planets. So yeah and no. The streets were named very much like (in fact exactly like) the names of the nine planets but not after the planets. This year the streets are named after the actual planets because of the, um, well you know, Vault of Heaven thing which is all about space and stuff. So yeah, the names are pretty much all about the planets unlike the year when it wasn't about space or the planets or even heaven for that matter if you get my drift. So, I heard that the street names will actually be named after the various geological epochs (Cambrian, Ordovician, Devonian [my favorite], Miocenian, Madonnian, Zarathustrian, Oreotacious, etc) on opening day which is a tradition as it alludes to the 2005 theme. Can't say for sure but heard that one of the early contenders for next year's theme is Clowhenge.

Hope this clears things up BTW.
