HELP US GET TO THE CHURCH ON TIME - ASHRAM GALACTICA BY CPL NEEDS A CHARTERED FLIGHT

Basically our crew, Coco Poco Loco, will taking over the torch and running Hotel Ashram Galactica at this year's Burn. The AG crew have decided on a well deserved break and are handing over the reins to CPL: a quixotic crew of antipodeans who are sure to bring their own brand of panache and quirk to this year's ashram. As such, we will be arriving the Monday prior to the burn to begin set up. There is, however, a hitch. Literally. The wedding of two of our dearest friends is occurring in San Fran on the Thursday (the 25th). 6 of us need to leg it quick sticks to San Fran for the wedding, then high-tail it back to complete the Ashram set up. Not only would our absence at our best friends' wedding break some hearts, we're also providing the music for the event. Basically, hell nor high water can keep us away, not to mention pesky playa dust storms and cancelled commercial flights.
Sooo, we're looking at hiring a chartered flight from Empire and/or Blackrock airport to SF so we can sneak out and back in to the Burn as stealthily and as painlessly as possible (ie. within a day or two). We're currently scouting the most financially sensible options and any suggestions/ guradian angels with private jets are most welcome and will make a bunch of crazy little coconuts very happy.
Looking forward like crazy to seeing you at the playa, and hopefully shaking up some magic for you at Ashram Galactica this year.

I'm fairly certain there are no aircraft charters available at Empire...especially since the city is basically closed down. I think Reno is the closest place where you'll find a charter flight company. Check the Reno listings for charter flights. Expect to pay a hefty price. Not only will the aircraft be picking you up and returning you, it will have to fly empty to the pickup point, charge waiting time on the ground while you're at the wedding, and return empty after dropping you off back at the playa.

It's entirely possible that someone who has an EAP may fly in and possibly offer you a flight and charge only for fuel, but that's a long shot. Another thing is that most charter flight operations will only land at airfields with hard surface runways, which eliminates the airstrip at BRC. If the Empire Field is still operating come playa time, that will prolly be your only option.

All that said, often the Universe provides! Good luck! I'd love to hear how things work out.

Umm.. I'm betting dollars to donuts that the BRC airport runway is in no way rated or long enough for jet use
