FIrst Time Burner from Phoenix!!

Post by BrewMastrJoe » Wed Jul 06, 2011 3:11 pm

So im totally prepared for this thing....sorta. I've read the survival guide, ive got my camp equip, all the food i need planned out (some already bought), the only thing im missing is the ticket. I know this is a total rookie move, but how long does it usually take to get the email that says "your ticket is on the way...?" It's been almost two weeks, is that average? not knowing is killing me....

Did you buy the ticket from the main site? Your junk mail folder could've eaten a confirmation, but it doesn't necessarily mean something bad has happened.

Contact the ticket people here:

You could also call your CC company and see if you were billed . . .

Good luck, & by the way--welcome to the board. :)

Yeah. Took me way more than 2 weeks also before getting the "sent" confirmation.

But then again, I did the pre-sale thing in December.

I think following Savannah's direction might be your best way to go ('cause that was all really good suggestions).... but I wouldn't worry too much.

While you're waiting, dream a little bit, smile a whole lot and have some fun in here!!!!

Then passed right by- And never knew.”

6/27? That's not too bad--really. I'm not a representative for tickets, but--based strictly on my own past experiences--you'll want to allow at least two full weeks before you start worryin'. Maybe even 'til July 13th or 15th. Then commence spazzing out (by which I mean "submit a polite inquiry".) I would hazard that if everyone who is a little antsy overwhelms the Ticket People too soon, genuine problems end up handled more slowly . . .

If it's any comfort, the 4th of July Holiday probably didn't make matters go any faster.

Hey there, welcome to eplaya!

Have questions? Read this first: http://www.burningman.com/first_timers/
Everybody on eplaya is always excited to help first timers; but in sympathy for some of us old timers, please get your required reading out of the way before posting. As hard as it is to rein in the the excitement and enthusiasm, and as unbelievable as it might seem, most of your questions have already been asked and answered, if you just take a moment to read.

Now, let the adventure begin!

Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me
