Hey yall!!
Super psyched about burning this year, but a little trepidatious. I really wanna find the right camp (or any camp, really), but am having a bit of trouble in my hometown of New York. My other game plan is to find one in Colorado, as I plan on flying out there to see friends a few weeks prior to burning man. Anybody have any advice?
Thanks,
Jonah

Hey there, welcome to eplaya!
Have questions? Read this first: http://www.burningman.com/first_timers/
Everybody on eplaya is always excited to help first timers; but in sympathy for some of us old timers, please get your required reading out of the way before posting. As hard as it is to rein in the the excitement and enthusiasm, and as unbelievable as it might seem, most of your questions have already been asked and answered, if you just take a moment to read.
Now, let the adventure begin!

Start there, and try and find a regional group in your area. Most of the regional groups also have a facebook presence. Show up for some of their events and get to know people.
Read the First Timers Guide and read heavily in the QandA section of this board. It is possible to camp solo, you don't have to be part of a theme camp!

Don't think you need to have a camp.jonahman3000 wrote:Anybody have any advice?
This may help you find one.

Hey Johahman
welcome to eplaya!
Tell us more about your self!
We currently don't have any extra seats. Plans have changed 100 times for us.
Though, people aren't gonna jump out of the wood work and say "hey camp with us" unless you tell them a bit about your self.
