RULES FOR HAIKU:
1) THREE LINES - 5-7-5 SYLLABLES
2) 1ST TWO LINES DESCRIBE SOMETHING
3) 3RD LINE TURNS IT INTO AN ANALOGY OR METAPHOR
4) IF POSSIBLE, ONE OR MORE LINES WITH INTERNAL ALLITERATION

Note: In Japanese Haiku, there is usually a reference to one of the four seasons.

How about this way, SJ? The last line is not a analogy or a metaphor, but does speak to the eternal optimisim of blah, blah, blah....
