Sound camp announcements/lineups

Post by junglesmacks » Tue Jul 12, 2011 4:28 am

Mid-July and still not a peep from even a single sound camp. By this time last year, they had long since surfaced.

Distrikt? OT? Nexus? Robot Heart? Anyone? Where you at?

I Imagine they are waiting for placement to guarantee they have a spot before posting their lineup.

Actually you know I'm curious to see what the drift will be this year in genres. I feel like last year dubstep hit it's peak and was SO overdone and as a result there was SO much backlash against it that hopefully this year we see a big decline in it.

One can hope, right? If I'm going electronica, give me good deep/progressive/tech house any and every day of the week..

That's what I've always done in the past :D ..and in the process, missed some amazing sets by people that I would have liked to see in addition to missing things that I would have rather experienced had I gotten off of my ass to do. So.. this year.. in the spirit of mixing things up a bit, I'm trying to at least cherry pick a few events at certain times that I make it a point to attend or see. No harm in trying at least, right?

Having a lineup is also great after the event. I've discovered tons of great stuff with the set lists from my first year out there.
