Restoring Youtube embeds?

I noticed that all of the old posts I could find in which Youtube videos were embedded, now had a little snippet of unrendered BBS code where the videos used to be. Is this going to be fixed, or is video embedding something that just won't work, any more?

BTW, if there is going to be video embedding, eventually, allowing the embedding of non-Youtube videos would be nice.
