Can anyone share a generator?

Post by Mad carew » Tue Jul 12, 2011 7:33 pm

This is my third year and I am approved by the DMV to bring, for the second time, my small electrically driven Mutant Vehicle (MV). However, I no longer have access to a generator and can't afford to buy one (for such a short time) or rent one from commercial sources. I need to be able to recharge my four car batteries and am hoping to arrange to have electrical access to a Camp or individual with a generator (12V DC or 110V AC). Absent access to electrical power I will be forced to leave the MV at home, which makes me wonder why I should keep it. I would very much appreciate hearing from anyone that can put me in contact with a Camp or individual that can help. Perhaps someone has other ideas, such a knowing of a portable generator that I could rent or borrow.

Absolutely say that you're going to bring 5 (or more) gallons of gas.

There has been in the past a large solar camp that offered battery charging. I haven't seen a post from them this year though. Anybody?

I've heard that AEZ will recharge your batteries for you.

It would be no problem for me to bring Motion-Lotion/Gasoline/Petrol/Benzene for access to a Generator

Bring your own breakout and cord.

Woods has an inline with 4/5 outlets I like.
