I dunno. Sparkleponies go for those tattoos (at least mine do). I could see them with tears inked into their cheeks. (Either set.)fbcota wrote:We thought a Panda in a tu-tu was a proper analogue for an irresponsible burner. Plus, sad sparkle ponies are hard to illustrate.
Awesome! I'M sorry I couldn't be more helpful and make it over more to lend a hand. I can't wait to see it on the playa and plan to come say hi and see if there is anything I can do throughout the week for you guys!fbcota wrote:Yep, I am freaking the fuck out. The first little art panic attack is creeping up on me. Its a little funny how every year, no matter how much time and effort you spend preparing these last couple weeks are still pure madness.
The Pier is almost done. We as a crew have a whole bunch of tasks that are about 90% done. Of course, it would be nice to have a whole lot more tasks that are 100% done. We aim to impress, and this year we have set the bar damned high. Will we hit it, yes, will we go over it, that is yet to be seen. Regardless thought, the ride has been an adventure to say the least, and I can't recommend it more!!!
Thanks to all you Eplaya folk for helping take this idea and make it sing. We have incorporated a ton of the great feedback and I think everyone will be happy. Sorry to those who got lost in the mix, I found myself playing catch up and just couldn't seem to coordinate the out of towners. The local crew has to call me enough as it is to find out what is happening.
pfft, that's obviously someone trying to jump onto the pierfbcota wrote:Help, this sign needs to be funny! And of course inform people that falling is not allowed,.... bad falling
Yay! We're neighbors. I'll be @ 3:30 & A in Terminal City and will spend many happy hours on the pier dangling my paws over the edge and watching the waves of heat roll infbcota wrote:Awesome. That was quick, only sent those 3 days ago. Sorry for the long delay.
Ohh, pier address is 3:45 and almost Esplinade. If anyone knows what camps are right there I would love to talk to them and make sure everything is koshur.
Warp Zone is going to be at 4:00 and A -- I wonder if we're neighbors? Love your idea!fbcota wrote: Ohh, pier address is 3:45 and almost Esplinade. If anyone knows what camps are right there I would love to talk to them and make sure everything is koshur.
Sweet! Fandango is at 4 & Esplanade. We'll be there (but the BRC Weekly staff is camping deep inside the village this year). We're a huge village with a 24 hour bar facing forward, I don't speak for the camp but I can't see why anything would be un-kosher about it.fbcota wrote:Ohh, pier address is 3:45 and almost Esplinade.
