Naked Bike Ride 2011!!!

Is there anyone planning the World Naked Bike ride for 2011. This is truly a Rite of Passage that needs to continue this year. For the past several years, this event has taken place at the Man on Wednesday at noon.

Has anyone heard?

Black Rock City Naked Bike Ride and Pub Crawl will take place on Wednesday at 11:00am, meeting at the Man. Bring a hat, shoes and sunscreen!

I ´ve heard and it seems BDC will be one of the first stops, so it should be happening :)

You got the time right but as of last year it is no longer called the World Naked Bike Ride(it's not sanctioned by the official WNBR)

I'm glad that it sounds like it's going to happen. I need one day of the week where I don't have to decide what to wear. :D

Does anyone know who did the organizing last year?

Also, OED, did you have your event on the calendar this year?

Shambala, the Annual Black Rock City Naked Bike Ride and Pub Crawl begins at 11 a.m. on Wednesday starting at The Man. From there their very first stop is, where else but everybody's favorite theme camp and village, Barbie Death Camp & Wine Bistro. We expect them to arrive around 11:45. Trying to herd naked and drunk cyclists is harder than herding cats.

From those who have participated, any suggestions for seat covering to prevent uncomfortable sticking and rubbing while riding? I'm really looking forward to joining!

As I seem to recall, a lot of the guys bikes didn't have seats.

As a nudist and belonging to the Kaniksu Family Nudist Resort, we use hand towels to sit on everything. Nicely folded it should be comfy on a bicycle sets. If skid marks are visible, just fold the towel over the mark.

I have a gel seat for my bike and it keeps my bum-bum nice and comfy the whole week. Who ever invented those seats, should be sainted! :D

Um, I think I'll stick with serving wine at Doc's place for this year. :oops: However, Kendoll (the sparkle stallion airstream adonis) will probably be all over this one.

I have a gel seat on my bike too, however I can't bring my bike. No room.

This is an awesome bike ride and a great way to get a tour of the city. Last year while we were at Barbie Death Camp, the water truck passed by spraying down the streets, and was followed by at least 100 naked people wanting a shower. The look on the truck driver's face was priceless when he realized how many naked people were chasing him down the road. I LOVE Black Rock City. :shock:
