Oops... damn!! New crush just appeared!!! Rian... you just went up several more notches in my Esteem-O-Meter. You play the fiddle? Eeeeeee... I love fiddlers... and violinists. And sexy female violinists? Yeow!!!

But then again, everybody loves Sex and Violins....

Sorry... I've been passing bad puns like a junk yard dog passes gas, all day long....

Sigh... when, O Lord, when ??????

Crushing big time on Ivy for making a really bad day into a not so bad day (in fact a pretty damn good day) with her care package.

You guys are giving me a big ego! That's no good! Samtzu, ever seen The Red Violin? It has the ultimate violing sex scenes in it. Mmmmm..... instrumentalists are kinky.

Actually, i'm really trained as a violist. But there's no way i'm bringing a handmade, professional work of art on playa. It's my baby, after all.

That's... a little scary..... um... wow.

I can't really remember which day it happened.... i decided to leave Camp Arousal early and play me some fiddle. Just for myself, for the playa, for whoever decided to venture past. Pretty soon this crazy cart or bicycle or something pulled up with Dale and Moop in it (we renamed him that morning 'cause he'd been found much like MOOP itself - strewn on playa).

We interacted verbally a bit, they said they'd been drawn by the voice of the fiddle and asked if they could commemorate the meeting with a photo. And then we spent some time just being, and eventually Moop and Dale went off into the playa morning.

There's really not a lot else to tell, I think, because the magic was in the moment and not so much in any one action that passed.

One of a number or really beautiful meetings that happened with the help of the fiddle... playing for an ash-spreading, serenading workers, playing pied piper and ending up with a marching band....

Please greet Dale and Moop for me if you see them!

Well Rian,
These guys are some of my extended LA Family . I hold them in the highest regard. I don't remember when the get together was, but Dale was sharing his pics and I remember it was a projection on one of the buildings outside of their Hollywood Headquarters. Imagine an Imax Version of that Picture. It pretty much captivated the crowd . I vaguely remember the story of the ash spreading. Dale and MOOP aka Mykl, were so excited to share the moment with everyone else. You can bet I will see the both of them and I will send along your greetings. You have a following , Baby. Nothing to be afraid of.

Love Bambi

I crush robbidobbs for her posts on this day and all other days. Cogent, kind kicks in the butt that move topics (and authors) in positive directions.

Thanks!

I crush Miss Black Rock City; because she loves a good fight.

That, and the fact that she's Miss Freakin' Black Rock City. I mean, c'mon, talk about a no-brainer...

'Cause recent threads remind me that Pets was the first one to treat me with a little grace, a little patience, and correct my silly newbie ideas.

And i was, and still am, grateful.

I think i'd better get a crush on AZ.

Does this mean i have to deal wih raising kids without the benefits that usually get you there?

Maybe I should move this to the FUCK thread. Or start an UN-CRUSH thread.

You know your right Cowboy . DVD is a most consistently kind and thoughtful person, always ready with a kind intelligent response. He has the most entertaining avatar. It looks kind of like an accidental super hero that is just figuring out what his powers are. Hopping, maybe? We crush him very much. Oh and for the endlessly entertaining and challenging "In 3 Words"

There was this woman in our camp in '97 with these almond-shaped eyes. On the mobile living room that night it stopped being a crush.
