Hell yeah!
Sorry didn't mean to rant on that last post. Must have had a stick up my ass or something.
Does it fit nicely with your goggles?
My first year I had the sweetest dust mask, and I had the sweetest goggles..... But together they didn't fit my face right.
I really wish I could come up with a bill for one of these.

Yeah there like $120-$200 bucks though
One of our Campers works at a safety supply store, so she can get a really nice 3M one for $100 bucks.... But thats still more than I'm willing to pay.
I'd bet you can find one on craigslist. If I find one, I'm going to wrap the out side with EL wire, so it makes a little frame around my face.
The papery/fabric dust masks are ok. Its worth spending the extra $.50 to get the better ones. Make sure they have the little metal strip across the nose so you can tighten it down.
Over the years, I've become a fan of a bandanna. I'm sure you've seen plenty of references to scarf and bandanna's on eplaya already. They are super use full, can be used for mouth/face protection, can be wrapped around the back of the neck to block the sun or dipped in ice water to keep ya cool. In a pinch it can be used to grab hot stuff. Can be used to clean your goggles.
I'd say a cup and a bandanna/scarf are to Burning Man as a Towel is to traveling the universe. (theres a thread on that someplace around here)

My mask suggestion is to see if you can find a "keffiyeh" or "shemagh" type scarf, like this:marinachka11 wrote:yeah I collect Bandanna type scarfs I have dozens of them and of course they are coming with me! but Ill still go to the lower east side in the city to some thrift shops see what I can find
I found mine for $9 in a thrift store in SF.
Fold it diagonally from corner to corner, make sure the long edge is slightly longer than your outspread arms (this will vary from person to person). Then use some handy videos to learn to tie it:

I've gone through tons of mask & scarf variations through the years- last year I wore a keffiyeh & I don't see myself using anything else. It held up excellently through a multi-hour white out.

I love the shemagh/scarf route too, because it feels like there's less condensation, the texture is better, and it's not as claustrophobic (for me).

In CO most folks have big dogs they take every where with them. Most people go for out door fun loving dogs. Though, there are still some people that have little yappy hang around the house dogs.

They should join the ePlaya boards and read through the threads in the tickets forum, and respond to the threads where people are offering tickets. No guarantees though, since the event's sold out and there seem to clearly be more people looking for tickets than are available.

And be careful with who you buy from.
A sorta, friend of a friend, more of an acquaintance just got screwed by some scammers. They had pictures and bar codes and everything. They guy paid $1,000 for 2 tickets, so $500 a piece. But, they were fake.
PayPal is looking into it, but he might just simply be out the grand.
And worse, it will take PayPal 60 days to come up with a solution, so he's pretty much screwed since he can't come up with another 1,000 for two more tickets.
