dude!! awesome. where can i buy a ticket for this show? my BM ticket doesn't mention whether I get into the shows for free, so i assume i need a separate ticket. is there going to be parking available at the show?

should i buy the album early, or will there be a download station at the show so i can get everything from itunes? can't you just sell your cd's at the gate?

Well, honestly, it's Larry's own damn fault for not posting the lineup on the website. Even just the main stage schedule would be good, so I can know ahead of time which bands SUXORS and go buy some t-shirts or check out the tits.

The last show I went to didn't even have 64 oz. sody-pop or extra salty pretzels.

i don't remember what the music sounded like, but I complained about the snacks.

I like the idea of wandering around and discovering that groups I enjoy are there. Word of mouth about Lost At Last was all that was needed in years past. Or better yet, just start playing and let people be surprised.

But sure, go ahead and blame Larry because he didn't do enough advertising for your band at the event.

I wonder: are your amps going to be covered, or are they going to say "MARSHALL" in big bold letters advertising their product? How about the front of keyboards? Is the band getting endorsed by Yamaha or Roland? Isnt that something that goes agains the philosophy of NO VENDING?

Don't worry. I do, and plan to continue blaming Larry for a whole litany of things.

no. i mean, yes. damn it all. is simple prostitution considered "vending" this year?

That's one of the things I feel has changed for the worse at BM. When I first attended BM, bands didn't need stages. My first night there I was wandering around on foot trying to find the people I was going to camp with and came upon group after group set up in front of their tents playing for whoever happened by. No stages or generators just enjoyment.

Maybe that can't be recaptured, maybe there are too many people attending these days. From my perspective though I would much rather see a few people playing acoustic instruments in front of their camp than hear somebody playing records a half-mile away.

Just heard that Larry made the show free due to a number of complaints, the show will start about 30 mins after the burning of the man. The show will be on the very edge of the city. Just go pass the man to edge of the world to find the stage.
