ordered my el wire for "Shot in the DARK" sign and finished my big furry playa coat. I will try and post a pic here or in the other thread (crafting help) later today. Still need to buy all the booze....
Oh my god, it's HUGE!

Swung by the thrift store on my way to work this morning and managed to find this wonderful, beautiful abomination for all of $13! Now to figure out exactly how I want to light it up!

Seems like you are posting them from Picassa? If so, you have to select the size of the image you want first to get the correct link info.

That yellow jacket looks like something straight out of Yggy's closet.
My item for the day, was again just a very small thing. I re-built my shopping list from memory, since that file was on the laptop that was stolen from my house two weeks ago.
And bought a couple more led blinky lights.
Nothing big at all.
What other people think about you is none of your business.

I got a big delivery from eBay! My belly dancer sparkly butterfly top, blinky lights, and pasties! I can't believe what BM does to me, I'm like a tart in my BM alternate universe. I think the heat pushes the skimpy factor up.

we also got a used Burley bike trailer at a garage sale for $25! Fits an ice chest perfectly. Now how to decorate?

Oh, it's the full suit, not just the jacket! And who's Yggy? (Sorry, just joined the board a few weeks ago!)

A friend of mine decided that I absolutely must accessorize with a big yellow hat and a monkey...

AHH! I recognize the Nordic Pagan bit in his signature, I've certainly seen that around a few times while perusing the board! My apologies - I'm just getting to know the lay of the land here on ePlaya!

Oh and Ygmir you have great taste! :D

Spent a lot of time clicking refresh on the USPS tracking page today.

Also got my playa trike to the rideable state, rode it, and started having second thoughts about bringing it :?

Yesterday's theme was tarps & el wire. Time to clean up the old soldering iron cause Cool Neon shipped it day-of awesome!

Tonight I start on my gifts to give out. Time to clean off and oil up the CNC machine!

My thing today is to take boxes to goodwill, dumpster and the garage. I've cleared up a bit of workspace, and will hopefully make the sound operated led star.

Picked up several types of flourescent fabric paint to experiment with.

Cleaned out the water cubes, will pack them on the bus today. Found a reusable solution to secure a party tent roof onto a costco carport frame. Replaced HD on my laptop and reinstalled the OS, still working on putting all the music/sound files back. That wasn't exactly planned, but better now than later. Need to work on my bastard pod belt thing today, go through more totes, find all my folding chairs for the camp's dining area, as well as find all the other various stuff I've acquired throughout the year and get it staged.

Smashy got our camp PA system working with car stereo speakers and we found out the range on our wireless mics is huge. :D

TTITD would be so much easier if we weren't such over-achieving theme campers.

Whoops! First attempt to pack mini van and not enough room. So, "most assume thermometer" stays home, so we can fit sleeping tent / bedding / mats.

Not exactly today, but close enough I found a base for a warm coat I have wanted forever that I can alter, ordered two lights from bikeglow for cheapsies, and my tickets should arrive today! Oh and super secret guys, none of my campmates are eplaya nerds like me so I can share with you my super secret plan to make them all fleece hats in a theme that they like, I have half the pieces cut out but 8 is a lot of individual hats! augh too many ideas! I also have a huge box of older kitty and bunny hats (I used to make and sell them) for gifting and I am fixing any of those that need help. Go sewing machine go!

Lol, nothing like that. I started another thread about it. Just a few issues that became clear with the whole trike idea when I started trying to ride and maneuver it around. People are slowly talking out of my pessimism regarding it though. I might just bring a bike as well.... one more thing to do!
