2 Hushville refuges seeking a home

Post by LittleJack » Wed Jul 20, 2011 6:29 pm

Since Hushville didn't get placed (yet, at least), The Indigo Druid and I are figuring out where to camp. We're neither of us virgins, and both very much into radical self reliance, so the idea of a theme camp with shared kitchen facilities, group meals, etc. sounds lovely, but not what we're looking for. What I love(d) about Hushville, and that I'd love to find elsewhere is:

1. It's a village, so you know the people camped immediately around you are part of a smaller sub-community. Thus, there's a bit of accountability and trust right off the bat.
2. It's easy to tell people where you're camped - "I'm in Hushville, right at the town round" is a lot easier to find than "I'm at 5:25 and D, on the Man side of the street".
3. It's fairly quiet, so I can steal a few hours of sleep at night
4. It's usually somewhat central - I really don't want to camp past G or H.

So, given all of that, I'm open to suggestions!

Thanks,

-Little Jack
