Announcing the Tsunami Bass Experience and sound camp presence at Burning Man 2011.

The Tsunami Bass Experience was awarded our founding placement at 10 o'clock and GRADUATE and to this end we are going with an 'edumacation theme' that ties in nicely with our mission for providing the best in Bass Culture Appreciation via enhanced enlightened edutainment.

Either our website (http://www.tsunamibassexperience.com) or the BM Facebook event page (https://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=230972416923702) offers more detail but it is suffice to say that this year at BURNING MAN 2011:Rites of Passage, we are looking forward to establishing the "BRC CAMPus of the TBE MULTIVERSITY of BASS" which will offer courses day and night in BASS Culture Appreciation. Cum get schooled by a "faculty" representing the finest BASS masters in Bass Culture music from around the world! Instruction takes place in our 30 ft. tsunami shaped interactive installation in which we invite BRC denizens to Wobble our ~WaVe~ & say, see, hear, feel the ~WaVeS, spark one's intuitive modality, which is only possible with proper BASS waveforms well programmed and performed. Shwag might include signed diplomas, tassels, etc. but at a minimum, we invite all to be edutained by the multi-sensory enahncement we specialize in cuz, as we all well know...

a WOBBLE BOOTY IS A TERRIBLE THING TO WASTE〜!!!!

In our auspicious founding year, we will have a feature a awesome sound system provided by JK SOUND capable of entertaining approx. 400 people in our frontage attended to by the toga clad Children of Baccus. ShiZaru & Morphous will be unveiling a 30 ft. (10M) tsunami shaped ~WaVe~ platform Ver. 7.0 that will turn the "TBE Multiversity CAMPus" into an interactive instructional installation capable of transducing low end frequencies as low as 5 Hz, providing a sensory enhancement oft described as a "bassface inducing," but more importantly, taps directly into the participants' kinestetic learning/thinking modality. This combined with the Audio ~WaVeS~ generated by our resident and guest faculty commanding the decks, and the visuals afforded by our resident VJs, all all merge to then spark the participants "intuitive" modality, thereby creating the perfect conditions for proper bass culture appreciation. Gonna school sum, we hope, but at a minimum, t'will b entertainin' with BASSquakin' and generatin' a veritable TSUNAMI wellspring of BASS to quench the tha' thirsty playa with EXPERIENCE. "Cum on in, the BASS is fine, and we be swimmin' in it~!!!"

Can't wait to get this wobblebootyjamslam started~!!! Wobble Wobble WOOT~!!!
津波低音経験〜万歳、万歳、万歳〜!革命的なWA和DUBも提供致します〜!!

For information on joining our faculty as either a resident (still seeking qualified sound/build crew) or as a guest DJ, or for details on obtaining an honorary TBE degree in BASS Culture Appreciation on/off playa via donation, please contact: [email protected]

Ok...before I felt like I knew something I shouldn't. And it is your list to announce.

But now...

Infected Mushroom at OT on the 31st. I will SO be there.

I am deeply disturbed.

It is looking like an amazing year for music.......

My favorite duo Wolf+Lamb (who have done a number of amazing large scale installations on playa BTW) are just getting off a tour with soul clap and will be layin down some slow, sexified beats until the sun comes up at a W+L curated night at disorient on TUES. As well as numerous shows all week long

Also Meat Katie, ill.gates. Crystal Method, Shpongle, and the list keeps going. It is gonna be a dance-tastic burn, and a perfect time for me to grace the playa after a much much to long hiatus

Soooo....

Wading through a lot of that lineup, I'm not seeing much of the deepchord/Basic Channel/Detroit style atmospheric techno... too much mash up/breaks/electro...

Any ideas anyone? I'll be giving the big boys a miss I think if I can search out some quality Detroit and Chicago elsewhere......

Cheers
