I love my trike!

But it's bumpy on my butt and back.

Hmmmmmmmm....

Dollar store kickball!!!

Tennis balls would also work.

Just stuck it in there and put in longer bolts and now I have an air cushioned ride.

I cut the back of the seat down so I could open the trunk lid where the 105ah battery and everything else goes.

I dont carry a "day pack".

Yes the trunk locks.

At a buck a piece. oh yea.

I did'nt build it. I just made it do what I wanted.

The electric assist even has reverse.

Its a Palmer IND. Joyrider bought used for $350.

I have an IJoyRide. Not quite the same!!!

I picked it up at a thrift store sitting sadly beside the door as no-one appeared to be wanting to pay any actual money for it. Curiosity got the better of me...

It's an interesting ride, to be sure -- for sitting "still". Not so sure about the exercise benefits, but it sure does give one pleasure! (and yes, that can be read any ole way you wish....)

So my exercise gear now includes a cowboy hat and a crop, and as I gallop along I often find myself singing loudly about my great horse "Mighty Little" and the dental floss fields of Montana.

It's a sqweeker horn and the controler for the electic motor (I hardly EVER peddle) and the headlight.

I put about 40 miles on it this year.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I read somewhere, maybe JRS, that electric bikes are now ok to bring without needing a permit / tag / whatever.

Something like that would be just what's needed for doing driveby feedings. Could even haul a tabletop gas grill and make the food on the spot. And how cool would it be to run a little rotisserie (?) off the battery...

I've heard rumors of this new "electic OK" rule, but haven't seen it officially. Can anyone point to the actual announcement?

It was in the jrs before the last burn, but I don't remember the edition.

I remember because I had already sent in a dmv app for the trike and then did'nt need it cause of the jrs announcment.

Tennis balls make the best shock absorber if you can find a way to wedge them in between your seat and frame!!!
