This is my first burn and I love the idea of the free expression, party hardy and the wonderful art. I've hosted dozens of Couchsurfer Burners after the fact where they basically slept for a day or two..lol..then get them to the airport to fly back to the world.
I'll be working as a greeter at the Reno Airport and will have some respirators, filters, goggles that fit over glasses and dust masks if you need to pick them up. They'll be sold at my cost. I have asthma and know there are others that may have it and need to be able to breathe easier in the dust.
About me...humm..am a 63 year old granny..own my own project management company... I enjoy life and try to always be positive and pay it forward.

Re: Excited to participate
Hey there, welcome to eplaya!
Have questions? Read this first: http://www.burningman.com/first_timers/
Everybody on eplaya is always excited to help first timers; but in sympathy for some of us old timers, please get your required reading out of the way before posting. As hard as it is to rein in the the excitement and enthusiasm, and as unbelievable as it might seem, most of your questions have already been asked and answered, if you just take a moment to read.
Now, let the adventure begin!

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Hi DK102! I love your first year mission at the airport.
Re: Excited to participate
Hi Bay Bridge Sue, No Problem on the edit. I tried to reply privately, but with no luck. Go ahead and do it. It was easier than writing a long winded into. The dust masks are commercial/industrial and much better than the flimsy ones say for doctors offices. The respirators, filters and goggles are also industrial, not terribly offensive looking, lightweight and the goggles will fit over glasses. I need to pick up 10 more today.
