Has anyone heard anything from Nexus about 2011 plans? I see the fundraiser party on the 29th of July for the fireball this year, but it's strange to not hear placement/lineup news beyond that. Just curious..

Basscamp is on the corner of 10 and the Esplanade.

While Nexus is at 10 and Engagement

Sorry.. duh. I think what was going through my head was that there is no way that Nexus would be all the way back at E, so it must be "esplanade". Wow.. that's quite a fall after being such a kingpin last year!

OK, so let me double check cause I think I'm missing something here.
Opulent temple, Nexus, and Bass Camp/Temple of Boom are all on the 10 o'clock side?

And Disorient and Bass'sin'station are on the 2 o'clock side?

How did that happen!

Both 10 and 2 have a lot going on this year. Disorient's on the Esplanade, 'Ooligan Alley is bringing a big Funktion One rig from London (wow!), and FractalNation Village will likely be one of those spaces where you lose your mind, over and over again (put together by some of the folks who've previously been involved with Entheon Village, El Circo, numerous other large scale camps, and a long list of amazing music festivals outside of Burning Man). Part of their space will be a bangin' sound system with amazing visuals/projections, and a kinetic energy dancefloor (able to transform energy of the ppl dancing into actual power to drive lighting effects). It's gonna be a big year...

But it does sound like the huge clubs are gonna be on the high side.

What you say about Disorient and Ooligan Alley is true. The visuals that Ooligan Alley is talking about sound sick.

So maybe instead the Rave will be at 10, and the Trip will be at 2.

We came to a decision at NEXUS that we did not want to deal with the horde that being on the corner guarantees. We will be at 10 and E, with a fantastic lineup that spans most all genres, and will still be rocking with Funktion 1 and Turbosound

10 and E is a great spot, the biggest shows I saw last year were right about there at RS. Either way the 10:00 side will be going big again.
