Not going again this year. Too broke, and working for UW Housing (or, at least, I hope I am still employed-- I've been away from work due to depression, as it turns out, for about 3 weeks)-- and Housing doesn't allow time off during the end of August, due to students moving in. I need a career change, which might help with the depression, too.

Reasons in order

My money and time is pretty much spoken for this year and maybe even next year.

Even if I did want to go tickets are already sold out(I'm not blaming anyone, just stating a fact).

I want to go to some regional stuff on the east coast first as my tastes may have changed since I went to my first burn.

I will be buying a house this year and I can't be throwing my money around.

Besides, I feel that going to the beach for whatever burn happens there, or making one happen by myself - would be more of an authentic Burning Man experience than buying a BM ticket.

I'm not going this year, but am planning for 2012. My first burn was last year and it was great! I live in Georgia and taking enough time off of work and college to drive across country is hard to do. But, I will be living vicariously through those of you going this year.
