Fireball Whisky?
Can you buy Fireball Whisky in the States? It's a cinnamon drink. If you don't have it, do you have something similar- spicy, not overly sickly sweet? I'll need to know if I have to bring my own or not- it's one of my favourites.

I know that Washington State Liquor Control sells it in select shops.
My source for Dr. McGillicuddy's Fireball Whiskey is http://www.missionliquors.com/, based out of Pasadena. They ship within...a week, I think?
But then I am hauling over 200 gallons of beer to playa, so I think I'm set.

Follow that. Orders are $12.99 apiece plus shipping and handling.
Yummers.

Okay, thanks, I'll bring my own and will look in Spokane for reinforcements. I'm coming from Canada so ordering on-line from the US will not work.

Re: Fireball Whisky?
Is this like a whisky version of cinamon aftershock with less sugar? If so I'm in! It would be like a breath freshener/germ killer/liver killer.sparkletarte wrote:Can you buy Fireball Whisky in the States? It's a cinnamon drink. just a guess
but I'll bet if you stuck some cinnamon candies in a bottle of whisky and let them dissolve you could replicate this pretty easy and cheap. Might take some experimentation, but I'll bet by the third bottle or so you'd have it nailed. And you'd be hammered.

I don't know if it's like Aftershock- I've never tried that, I don't think we have it in Canada, not that I've seen.
I loooove Fireball. It's one of my favourite party drinks. It's like tequila in that, yes it's alcohol, but it's more than that. You get special fireball effects from the cinnamon- snappy, sassy, energetic, hot, fun. It's my choice if I am at an all night dance party and want to imbibe but don't want to do other party drugs.
Look for me, the sparkly cinnamon girl, and I'll give you a shot!
I just keep getting more and more ideas of stuff to bring to share- excellent![/quote]

Found it...
In Washington state, there are only a few liquor stores that carry said concoction.
On the I-5 corridor, there are two (and corridor is putting it mildly, Auburn is not exactly turn left at exit 167, you're there.)
I snapshotted this at work, but the WLCC (liquor board) has a stock search feature to see which liquor store carries how much of any one type of liquor. So, if you're looking for, say, lemoncello, you can find the store in the state that has it.

Go there. I think the one I'm going to is in Vancouver WA.

If you really like that type of drink, see if you cant find Avalanche. That is the best spicy/cinn style drink ever. It's about as sticky as any other thick hard liquer. It's kinda hard to find these days. But I am sure someone kknows where to get it. And it's prolly cheaper than what your asking for.
