We need to get some blue LEDs for a fur coat and others for my bf's hat and whatever he chooses as his nighttime outfit. He already has one Arduino but not sure if he needs more...after tonight's planning session I should have all these details....what all do you still have?
Will you be attending the next circle? We've been to a few but haven't really chatted up with anyone. I've been told the one at the tea place (lunar circle) is more personable
Minxy - thank you!!!! I'm so humbled you described them as "leet" and FELIZ CUMPLEAÑOS!!!:!:

Alright, money tide is turning. Sold clothes for $88 bucks, got a buyer for two Millenium Falcons tomorrow, one for my speakers and added new stuff to Ebay
http://shop.ebay.com/shelschok/m.html?_ ... m=&_ipg=25
Still can't get the html picture linking in the item description, so my pics are eh, but......hopefully it'll work.
Also busted open the savings jar last night so I have money for the road.

Lol not at all! I had an interesting winter to say the least. I've got tons of blue LEDs.. you're in luck. Tell you what.. if I send them to you, will you promise to use them? How many do you need?lazerfox wrote:junglesmacks - Well slap my helmet and call me surprised...welcome back! I thought I had offended you or something![]()

well sounds like you have some story-telling to do when I finally run into you sitting and with a drink in hand. No worries on the shipping I am more than willing to give the drum circle at brewery another go just wanted to make sure you weren't going to be no show since it is next weekend.junglesmacks wrote: Lol not at all! Unless of course that would be more convenient for you? (Hint: let me know which one is more convenient for you) Not sure on quantity but I will know after tonight's planning session

You are AMAZINGLY good for only having three months of hooping under your belt. I hope to get to see you dancing with your pretty hoop this year.

Love this thread! It's so motivating.
In preparation for next year's event, today my husband and I took our Target giftcards (we got $300 to Target in wedding gifts), and bought a tent, air mattress, and air pump.
I also got a floaty and a noodle for the beach
That counts as preparation, right?

Found a 6x12 utility trailer to borrow for the event. Now with all this extra space I have a feeling I'll just have to find a zillion more things to bring.

Pulled boxes out, set up some solar lights outside to test them, sorting through a sundry of items. Trying to do decide what to do with the zip lock bag full of doll body parts. Oh, and I found my very trusty Playa cup that has been to every burn with me!

I'm doing that process today, cause it's fun and I want today to be a fun day. I LOVE digging through my burn boxes.

Figment and I have the old burner rv but Mrpototomoto (prodgeny) it's tenting it. Now you can't exactly call it roughing it with a three room tent, queen size air mattress and blow up furniture

Oh oh oh I feel so smart you guys, thanks a million to whoever suggested putting prescription-glasses lenses in swim goggles!!!
I found a pair of swim goggles at Walgreens for $4.99, dug out an old pair of glasses, and, eh voila! The lenses fit inside the goggles perfectly! No cutting or glue needed AT ALL! The soft plastic fittings inside hold the lenses in place beautifully!
Perfect fit on my face, too.
Now, some decals and paint...

Re: One Item for BM a Day
Ordered pink EL wire for the girls night costume... Lining the white fur Ebay jacket with pink around the edges twice around, then pink around the bottom of the mini skirt on top of the white fur strip of fabric. FYI.. good until the end of the month is a 20% coupon code at Coolneon. It goes down to 10% for Aug. Use code "JRS" when checking out. Not selling, just referring and trying to help anyone save a buck

My sweetie finished casting and tumbling the first batch of pendants. She's going back to her '08 design, with '11' stamped on the back.

That is fantastic!
Well I have now booked all my internal flights in the USA (4) and as much accomodation as I can pre-book.
I also printed out my receipt for my will call ticket and put copies of it in 3 places.....

Good idea! You could slice one up and use it to cover rebar, too. Yay for the dollar store.Sic Pup wrote:Yes, I have noodles on my dollar store shopping list, I'll be using them on guylines.NellieX wrote:I also got a floaty and a noodle for the beachThat counts as preparation, right?
Re: One Item for BM a Day
junglesmacks would you be able to part with 40-50 blue LEDs and 20 of any other type of LEDs you currently have? And please let me know if it would be more convenient to meet up at the drum circle or mail them. Thank you sir!
minxy you will definitely see me hooping. If not at the MnG then maybe at the Spin Cycle theme camp since a lot of my hooper friends will be there.
the bee those necklaces are amazingly gorgeous!

Re: One Item for BM a Day
I posted my finds on the wrong thread and now the uploaded photo stuff is messing me up... We can't upload photos on this thread so I had to link from the other thread, blah blah blah...
I ahd some dog tags (fox tags!) made at the surplus store today. They normally limit text to 15 letters/spaces per line. They thought the last line was funny so figured out how to do it...

Also scored two Barbies at Goodwill for Doc Pyro. A normal one and a red-headed hottie in a strapless one-piece. Are Barbies in swimsuits ok in the desert???
Found some 'spanky skanky' tight shorts there too. Nike's with see-thru mesh side panels. They sure make some fine clothing...
Sweetpea won't let me post a picture. Something about the ladies. Whatever.

Re: One Item for BM a Day
Picked up my backup eyes as well as polarized prescription shades.
After months of garage sale hopping I gave up and went to Wally mart for bikes. Last week they had 20 cruisers in stock - this week zero. Went online and they show them as no longer stocked in the stores, but the good news is that the price has dropped to 80.00 They were 90.00 last week. Ordered 3 with free shipping along with locks for the bikes.
Edit: I forgot to mention that necklace is awesome Bee, and that scratch my belly line is priceless on your dogtags FF.

Savannah: I don't know what it is, but no thread here escapes alive. You'll get 1 or 2 real answers at minimum, occasionally 10 or 12, and then we flog it until it's unrecognizable and you can't get your deposit back.

Re: One Item for BM a Day
Such awesomeness going on !
Very pretty Bee, cool tags Fox, nice goggles medolious ooooh blinkies junglesmack
It's gets harder everyday to go to work I dream of the hr I get off so I can run home and either finish a project or conjure up a new one hehe.
Last night I started a liner of sorts to go under the pedicab out of shade cloth like a giant basket liner, I can't decide if I'm putting a zipper in it or not heehe. I spent a month making my coat then looked at the old dirty pedicab floor under the seat I would be storing it in
and decided oh hell no lmao
