Unbelievable the prices on eBay for tickets.
Just out of curiosity I just signed on eBay and did a search on Burningman. It's unbelievable the prices people are bidding for tickets. I'd heard they were going for high prices but this is ridiculous. For safety I might have to remove my ticket from my wall. It's so hot it might set fire to the house.
You know it's going to be a bad day when you jump out of bed and miss the floor.

Yeah, half of us will probably be ticket jacked on the way to the playa.

A lot of those crazy prices are not real. It's fake "protest" account jacking up the price to kill off bidding. However a lot of sellers have quickly gotten wise to it and delete bids from brand new accounts.
Rough average ebay price is around $800-$1200.

The fake price also encouraged people who were to dim to figure out it was a fake price to post their tickets at inflated prices. What is sad is the original seller posted those tickets at a reasonable price before the event sold out.

I believe in the ethos, but eveyone can have his price. If I passage out of burning, then can I sell out and buy a ticket to New Zealand? Or do I have to do a straight trade.....Naugh.
