Virgin Burner outta the PNW

Post by Cascadian » Thu Jul 28, 2011 5:46 pm

Hey good people
My name is Sean and Im a novice staff spinner/organic farmer/brewer/cyclist/part-time gentleman from Oregon! Im a virgin burner with a very small and loosely-knit camp, and Im joining the boards to see if I can find some info on the various goings on at this year's event. I definitely like getting involved to make things happen, I expect to end up helping with some delightfully outlandish enterprises.

Counting down the days...

Hey there, welcome to eplaya!

Have questions? Read this first: http://www.burningman.com/first_timers/
Everybody on eplaya is always excited to help first timers; but in sympathy for some of us old timers, please get your required reading out of the way before posting. As hard as it is to rein in the the excitement and enthusiasm, and as unbelievable as it might seem, most of your questions have already been asked and answered, if you just take a moment to read.

Now, let the adventure begin!

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Hey Sean, Welcome to ePlaya!

Check around the Theme Camps 2011 forum for all sorts of "goen' ons"
Also, as you pass through the gate you will be given a Who, What, Where or maybe its What, Where, When? Either way I call it the "Whos'n'Whats-it book"
Why don't ya stick your head in that hole and find out? ~piehole
Plan for the worst, expect the best. Make the most out of it under any conditions. If you cannot do that you will never enjoy yourself. ~CrispyDave
