i'm thinking of going this year finally, but was wondering what the live music scene is. are there live shows, or is it just clubs w/ DJs? also, some of us were thinking of bringing amps and guitars and shit, if we could use somebody's plugin... is that naive? we have all the equipment, assuming no rules about who can play.
go easy... Cristal

In our camp, Gooferville, located at 7 o'clock & Mercury, we will have a stage and be hosting bands who want to play live music. We have power, amps, and may allow some people to use our instruments. We are looking for bands to play on our stage, but are hoping to find bands compatible with our circus aesthetic. What kind of music does your band play? Our band, Gooferman, which includes guitar, drums, & electronic samples & music as well as singing will be playing at a minimum at the big party we throw Thursday night. Samples of the music can be found on gooferman.com. We will also be offering karaoke Wed-Fri from 6-8 and after the temple burn on Sunday.

Bring your axe, tubes or skins.
Lots of open stages and bars everywhere.
Check out your Black Rock City Directory.
But remember, Bring a bottle or pack of your favorite libation along with your sound tools to share at the bar.
Who knows you might be playing alongs side someone very famous- like me!
