I got a package in the mail today. I didn't remember ordering anything.
It was an Adirondack Camp t-shirt!
Thank you Tootsy & Bean! That was so kind, I can't wait to meet you...

For me, excitement of the up and coming burn is making me tingle all over!! like sticking a finger in a light socket!

I suntanned topless on the boat while the Mr was fishing at our lake yesterday. The weather was gorgeous and hot, I got the reminder of freedom I feel when I go to the burn, and I toned down the headlights affect my bright white chest normally gives off. Now I won't blind people on the playa... IN 27 DAYS :D

Well OTHER things were gorgeous and hot too, but the showcase was definitely the blue skies and 30+ degree (celsius) days through the entire long weekend :P

The mister probably doesn't agree on that point, he wasn't too good at catching fish while I was out there....

Happy Thread...while America burns..ok Maryanimal...blue pill or red pill?

The terms were popularized in science fiction culture via the 1999 film The Matrix. In the movie, the main character Neo is offered the choice between a red pill and a blue pill, with the red pill leading to his "escape" from the Matrix, a fictional computer-generated world, while the blue pill would allow him to remain in the world with no knowledge that anything is wrong......

You most certainly do! And I REALLY need you to go to the "Whatcha Bringin to That There 'Meat' n Greet" thread.
I posted a reply just oozing with entendre and innuendo and now I just look like a freak.
I need your clever ass to complete the circle, jerk. :D

I mentioned in passing this morning that I would be putting my BM ticket up for sale since I was able to snag a staff ticket. A person overheard me and said “Sold!” I looked at him and said that I hadn’t even stated what I was selling it for and he said it didn’t matter – one of his campmates needed a ticket – consider it sold. I said OK and he was happy. He was even happier when I told him it was a tier one ticket at $221.25 and I would let it go for $221, a whopping loss of 25 cents. That was fun making someone’s day a happy day

Thanks for asking. She's hanging in there. The biggie is that she has a birthday this month - her big 40. It might be another trigger. We have made a hard decision but it had to be made. No more bailing her out. Doesn't have a job, can't make car payments but can afford new tattoos? She does have a free room at her ex-husbands in Omaha so at least she has a roof over her head. On the brighter side - only eleven more wake ups and I'm on the Playa!

My kitty cat, Eddie, didn't need to have eye surgery today! WOOT! He got a hole in his cornea somehow over 2 weeks ago and has been wearing the cone of shame and needed antibiotic drops 4 times a day ever since. He fasted over night just in case the vet decided to do surgery this morning after examining his eye again. It's taking so long to heal. Surgery would have involved sewing his inner eyelid over his eye until the hole healed, then unstitching it after. BUT vet gave him the okay, cause he's spontaneously grown a vein across his eye recently, and apparently that's good for the healing process. He doesn't even have to wear the cone of shame anymore! He's spent the whole day rolling on the floor happy as can be. :D :D :D
