It isn't news at all. Just the same bull shit as any other stupid person without the forethought to do the FIRST logical thing for anyone going to an event (or a movie for that matter) BUY A F**KING TICKET.

These DJ's are in good company. It turns out that Larry Harvey and Marian Goodall both neglected to buy their ticket on time, and will most likely be either paying a huge premium for their tickets, or sitting out the event this year.

I heard they were trying to sneak into a DPW crew but were found out when they failed miserably at setting up First Camp.

To answer the original question: Yes, this is good news. Maybe (just maybe) the sound camps will audition for new, unknown DJs who already have their ticket and equipment and are longing for an opportunity to play at a huge sound camp on the playa. Don't get me wrong... I freakin' love Shpongle, and Infected Mushroom, but how is getting paid $50,000 to play a show on playa in the spirit of the event?

Hey! None of the DJ's get Paid (according to the Dark Lord and the Emperor) they only get fairy dust and skittles as compensation.
