LMAO, doesn't everybody have a crane?Eric wrote:As if it's not enough the man owns a firetruck RV, he just happens to have a crane lying around he can use to put it all together.ygmir wrote:OED: none..........I put it on with my crane:

Somehow the fact that Ygmir has a crane doesn't surprise me in the least. He who plays with large pieces of granite surely needs a crane. And now he has a firetruck. But when he picks up an M1 Abrams I'll def. shit.

Just picked it up today for out of town work and the burn. It is nearly as old as me. It needs one leaf spring replaced. Luckily I have a set just laying around that will fit.
Pretty rough shape but serviceable.

yeah, in fact, it's uncanny how it fit!
the sides of the camper just clear the sides of the hose bed (once I took the dividers out)
sitting on 2x6's (flat) on the aluminum bed.
the angle of the drop on back, matches perfectly, the angle at the rear of the truck, and, it just clears the monitor, when I took the nozzle off.
It's overall height, is 13'6" or so........
rear overhang of the axle, is exact legal (well, if they measure my step, it's over). but, I can unbolt if I must.
A 72 camper, if working, is a jem, IMHO:
"real" materials.
