Motley crew of well meaning but slightly naive Irish folk attempting an ambitious road trip from New York to Black Rock City on an old but newly acquired school bus.
We are hoping to pick up anyone who should like to join us on route or even off route should you be particularly endearing (that said we have no route in mind yet, suggestions are welcome). The bus should hold 20 and we are currently 6. All we ask is you chip in for fuel on route, and take the wheel from time to time if your so inclined.
We will be leaving New York on the 20th of August and not returning. On a tangential note, should you know anyone in the San Francisco area hoping to buy an old school bus in questionable condition around the 9th of September, let us know.
Smoking and tomfoolery is encouraged. Good sense of direction is a definite plus.
Let's be having ye!

I would like to subscribe to your dashboard cam.
That sounds like great fun.
Here's a story about NYC to BRC.

Oh, hey: if you're traveling with that many people it will be extra important to make sure that absolutely everyone aboard has either
1) a physical ticket or 2) their ID AND a Will Call confirmation number for all online sales. If they bought Will Call through the post, I believe there is no confirmation number, but the person is still asked to print out the email they receive. (Check the main site Ticket FAQ to be sure). Protect yourself: if even one person on your bus does not have a ticket in some way shape or form, you will have to take the careless one back to Reno before you can enter. And if the mistake was not an honest one (i.e. the person was a hidden stowaway) the problem is much greater.

It would also be wise to get a road service subscription, such as AAA. When a bus breaks down, it gets pricey.
