He got a hole in his cornea somehow over 2 weeks ago and has been wearing the cone of shame and needed antibiotic drops 4 times a day ever since. He fasted over night just in case the vet decided to do surgery this morning after examining his eye again. It's taking so long to heal. Surgery would have involved sewing his inner eyelid over his eye until the hole healed, then unstitching it after. BUT vet gave him the okay, cause he's spontaneously grown a vein across his eye recently, and apparently that's good for the healing process. He doesn't even have to wear the cone of shame anymore! He's spent the whole day rolling on the floor happy as can be. :D :D :D
*giggles* cone of shame, love it *snorts* hehehehe lucky kitty

Didn't those pooches pose for a painting of them playing poker?

Slowly but surely we are getting the place next door furnished and closer to a secure and cozy party spot.

Things are coming together for TTITD. We may even have 2 or 3 of our camp mates to help us pack the rental truck BEFORE the event!! yay!

It's so nice to get by with a little help from our friends. So hard to come by but so easy to maintain. I'm so thankful for wonderful friends.
Speaking of that, Espressodude and Helga climbed up the mountain and visited yesterday afternoon. We spent a few hours basking in the sun and Sweetpea came out and served us delicious beverages with plenty of ice.
We talked all kinds of good shit about you all and can't wait to get out there and see you.
Yay for wonderful friends!

Knowmad's back.
Yay!

Gonna go get some Japanese food and a birthday cake for Sweetpea.
Wish I could find matching kimonos for us to wear while eating in bed...

Sweetpea's 40th Bday Cake.jpg
The bakery was closed so I went to the market and bought a boston cream cake and some icing and decorations and made it for her myself.
I brought it into the bedroom to show her and she absolutely loved it! She asked if she could have some ice cream with it so I went to the kitchen, cut a slice for her, a slice for me, added ice cream, and brought them back to the bedroom. I sat on the bed beside her and we ate cake and ice cream together. It was the sweetest birthday party I've ever shared with anyone. We talked and laughed, and cried a little bit, but we had such a wonderful time. If she can't go anywhere to do anything, I do my best to bring it to her.
That's what love is. Adapting.

Hey everyone! I have a spare tent and a single air mattress I can lend someone! (I'll be offering it up next year too!)

The tent is an 8' x 8' I think could be bigger! I set it up and it looks about that size.

The tent will sleep :
4 comfortably
3 comfortable with a some elbow room
2 more space and you can have 2 single air mattresses or one queen
1 person will be in hog heaven!!

PM me if you need it!
Sometimes I'm confused by what I think is really obvious. But what I think is really obvious obviously isn't obvious.

well, some may have heard of some bad news from my direction, but that's not what we'll talk about here.
My good news and positive is: "I Have a Cat now!" her name is Crash Kitty and She is snow white (short hair), and a hunter killer, 5+ Shrews, bunch of meadow mice, and a bat.
I like putting a Glow stick bracelet as a collar on her at night. she zooms through the forest like a dervish, so funny.

I Love you Crash Kitty! :D

Yeah, boy! Love is something you give, and something you do, not (necessarily) something you say or something you get.
It's a pity that it takes an illness for most of us to notice that. :)

I am such a cat lady.

So Mister Fufa's coworker adopted a kitten from the shelter two weeks ago, only to find out that he's crazy allergic to cats. So who takes this little kitty in to their home? We do of course! Meet Stanley, the newest member of our kitty family! He's only 2 months old, and he barely makes a sound. Haven't heard a single mew from him yet. Fast little bugger though.

Image ___ Image

So now we have Stanley, Kevin, Eddie (Edward when he's in trouble hehe), and Muta/Patchy-Patch (Grandma's deaf kitty)
