I'm a Caco, so I'm into pranking the fuck out of authority figures. But lately we have stopped short on a couple of events involving federal buildings. Homeland Security REALLY takes pranks on Fed buildings in a different light nowadays.

It's the Feds. (Particular branch to be revealed only when/if I choose.) And apparently you can get disaplined for it--even fired (I checked with the union guy.) And FUCK I liked the job, and I wanted it!
Fuck, we have let the unions get weak in this country! (After all, the Tyson strike ended mostly because Tyson could have forced the union to be voted out of the plant, due to the way the laws are in this country.)

See if there is anything you can do to fight it through the union. You might get at least some compensation just to stop bothering them-- and to stop any bad publicity from the fact that they terminated you for taking care of a mentally ill relative. (Of course, I have been fighting my getting terminated from the hospital for over a year now, so it can take time.)

You have my sympathy, for whatever good that does. :(

Hoo Yah! Shasta's still there. And yes, there is snow...quite a bit of it.

BTW: Mt. Shasta's the one landmass that has dropped me to my knees...and yes, I've been to the Grand Canyon. It's a riverbed. Shasta's a FUCKING VOLCANO!

Why?

Because my bucket-wearing friend is on the verge of a nervous breakdown and said on the phone that he may not attend. He did say he'd let me take his VW camper, fully stocked and ready to go, so it's not a logistical disaster should he really bail.

But whoa, I mean, going solo to the playa after five years? Can this be so? Where will I camp? What will I do? Fuck, I am just glad I know all of you all.
