gate closing before end of event?

I have ticket and have arrived on mondays through thursdays in years past. I read on Eplaya that they might be closing the gate early this year. Anyone know for sure what is happening here. I can not get away until thursday and would not arrive till late or even friday am. No way I can leave earlier, Roy

I'd think you mis-read something.
the gate stays open for the entire event.
I think after Saturday, the configuration changes for exodus, but even then, you can get in.

Gate is open for business through Labor Day...the same credentials required to pass through gate on opening day will be required to pass through gate until after the event has finished.

With all the craziness this year didn't want a problem. I care take for an amazing but 96 year old elder and this is my only time off. And 5 days in a row is the max I can get so looking forward to getting on the playa again.
