What we need is a "super-mod", one with IT skills, access, and time. And an understanding of the nuances of the eplaya community.

With all due respect, It's not hard to spot the spammers. I work another board (otherwise I would volunteer here) and all mods are free to delete posts.

Mods here can delete and delete and delete hundreds of posts from the same bot. A mod with enhanced powers could stop the user-bot cold.

As I've said before, the solution is not to delete posts, or even accounts. The solution is to stop the bot from registering in the first place.

I went ahead & PM'd Spanky today asking if one of the current mods could be elevated to admin to deal with this. If I had AG's email I'd send it to her as well.

Seemed a little more proactive than sitting here pushing that damn spam-triangle all day. The good news is that all the spam makes it easier to step away from eplaya- too much crap to try to find actual posts.

The name may still show on your foe list, as it's still in the user database. But both the user name and ip have been blocked from login (at least that's how I understand it).

Can we do something about the way pictures are cut off? Even shrinking the picture would be better, within reason.

Auto image-resizing is on the to-do list. No ETA just yet, there are a few other enhancements and upgrades that need to come first.
