So - with what seems like a huge amount of Birgins going this year.. how many do you think are going to get out there the first day and only last a coupla days? Basically they get out there.. look around and say fuck this shit.

I know it happens - I had friends who got talked into going years ago and only lasted 3 days before they said eff it. They ended up camping in Tahoe or someplace.

At this point with the first day of ticket sales calamity and the total complete ticket sell out, I do not want to make any predictions about anything like that. I think this year is a whirlwind and that trying to make predictions is like singing a lullaby to comfort yourself on the Titanic. YMMV.

My money says better than you might think. Playa surface is good (so say reports) which will make getting around easy. That will help the newbies. And this is a sold out event which means that there is almost an obession with saying it was worth it. I think the wild card will be the weather. If it's good, best time ever! If it's not, early exodus may be exactly what happens.
