Trying to view last N days of postings

OK, after logging in and not reading things for the past day or so, I come back and want to see the last N days of postings. I tried different things in search but to no avail :(

Is there a way to see the last (say) 2 days of postings? - not just postings since I last logged in, since I screwed up my last login.

eg Maybe a way to set my lastlogin time for a query?
