Mo's clothes & ipod were found on Thursday, but it wasn't confirmed until today (one person knew because the police got his phone number off the ipod, but didn't say anything except to the core group; the police still haven't officially confirmed it). They were found near the cliffs at Lands End in SF.

I really want to believe he's in a psych ward right now, but I don't think that's true. I don't want to post anything like this on his fb because I know I'm not the only one thinking this way and it's not my place as a casual friend to say it.

It happens a lot. Too fucking much. Just in SF bashings are up in the Castro, there's actually movement to start community patrols because there aren't enough police. Fucking chicken-shit asswipes come in from the suburbs and head to the heart of the gay community looking for targets so they can feel all fucking tough for ganging up on some human being who they don't know & never harmed them.

Outside the comparative safety of SF it's even worse. The more we're being accepted as actual people the more hate gets concentrated at us. One step forward, two steps back.
