Possible thanks to Heavens Above

Interesting facts, but also see this topic for a discussion about other weird facts someone claims.

bdongray,

I do not know what your freak is nor do I care. This is where you go to get real questions answered about the Big Camping Trip.

From my exposure to you I think you NEED to check into one of those places that hold you for 72 hours and give you happy happy pills because I think you have been off your meds a bit too long.

OK, apologies, I should not have done two postings, I should have put them in one, so to answer you... but in one post:

a) any thoughts on the Iridium flares? They *are* impressive to see, I saw a couple of good ones at BRC in 2002. But as the "heavenabove" website only offers details 7 days in advance, it can be a little difficult to get the details AND be at BM all week.

b) WTF? Someone sets up a site and adds a link to my site. Which is ok, everyone has the right to their opinions, viewpoints, and I've offered my site to allow such activity (although not quite what I expected). Anyway, I thought the "occult" site was amusing, and since you posted here about some stats of BRC (over and above just the Long/Lat question asked), I thought it might be of interest to some people to mention the reference to my posting about the possible shadier side of BRC statistics. If not "interesting" then at least "amusing". If you cannot see the humor, then maybe you need some of those pills you are offering me! OR... maybe you think the shadier stats are intentional?

Please leave your insulting negativity at home when you come to BRC. :(

PS I wonder how many other places in eplaya you will post the reference to Rod Garrett's stats of BRC?

bdongray,

What I did in providing a link to the source of my information. This is called a citation or a cite for short. As I did not survey BRC I provided information to interested people on where they can find the information they seek.. From an official Burning Man wed site.

So I will follow the Q & A Forum Etiquette protocol. Q & A is about real questions and real answers. The question was lat long. I answered and gave the source of my info so the reader could determine the validity of my answer.

Then you hop in with a post that has maybe a small tangential application to lat long.

But has no business on this thread.

If you want to know what the original poster wants to do with the info just PM him.

Do not disrupt the information posted here with your love of sunlight flashing off a commo satellite.

Start your own post somewhere else.

I am really starting to appreciate Badges quote.
