I managed to find a way to burning man by the skin of my teeth. But with everything else going on in my life there is no way I can bring sea salt caramels to the meet n greet. I'll be lucky to get there at all. So I am bringing whatever I can manage in my state at the last moment. I have no idea what that will be. Sorry to be so flaky but my health is not allowing me a lot of advance planning right now. Hope to see you all that Thursday even if I have to hobble down there from my camp.

I don't think anyone would want you to stress out about this. Perhaps bring ice? I saw Dr. Pyro say it was an excellent contribution (and, I imagine, easy for people to overlook . . . or be too late to the Ice Station to provide). Economical, too.

Ice Station 3 closes at 6pm . . . perhaps you could get there 15-20 minutes before it closes, then go straight to the Meet & Greet?

Jax, I hope that I probably speak for most here when I say your presence is much more important than what you can bring.

If not, let me know and I'll bring ice or something to cover your contribution.
Savannah: I don't know what it is, but no thread here escapes alive. You'll get 1 or 2 real answers at minimum, occasionally 10 or 12, and then we flog it until it's unrecognizable and you can't get your deposit back.

I look forward to meeting you as well my dear.

A quick rundown of my outfit taking in to consideration such items as have been requested:
The combat skirt with the hot pants on beneath, furry legwarmers, bulletproof vest with no shirt, fur coat and shoulder armor, and Killbuck can provide me with a helmet that will compliment the trainwreck that is me.
Did I leave anything out? Should I leave something out?
(This is gonna be sooo fun!)

I don't think I've heard one thing about what our "rite of passage" is going to be at this here potluck/party/meetandgreet

This sounds like something that shouldn't be ignored.

I'll put my thinking cap on right now.

Will you be visible under all of that costume? Sounds like a walking arsenal of fabric, fur, chain link and kevlar. (Not that there's anything wrong with that. :) )

I tried to post a reply last night but the internet didn't like me. So here goes again. You guys literally brought tears to my eyes with your kind thoughts and words. Thank you so much. I will be at the mng no matter what, because how can I miss meeting all you wonderful people in person? A lot of hellos and hugs are owed. I am in Gigsville, not too far away so I am pretty sure I can make it on my own, maybe even with a bag of ice! See you all on Thursday!
