Hi!
I'm a Burning Man virgin (been to lots of regionals) and headed out with the build crew for a CORE effigy from Austin. I leave in two days! Oh boy. Packing today, my house is a mess, and I'm so excited I am vibrating.

I've been reading these forums a lot for advice and prep for the desert (which so far looks like it will be a nice break from the Texas summer, but with altitude to contend with), and wanted to say thanks! My first time, and I'll be on playa for 17 days. It's a lot to prepare for.

Thanks! I'm sitting here surrounded by laundry trying to decide if I need 34 tanktops, or 4. Do I have enough socks? Where are those glowy things?

It will all be alright as soon as I get some dust on me.

You don't have enough socks. Probably enough tank tops, though don't forget layers of clothing too (high altitude desert, gets COLD at night). Good luck, safe travels, have fun, hope to see you out there!

cool Im a virgin going early too with the theme camp temple of RA, although not as early as you. Ill be at 3 and Funeral come by sometime.
