If you are going to bring an inflateable sex doll the best kind to get are the ones that stand up on thier own and have a beer holder built in on top of the head.

Just trust me on this.

If you fold over the end of tape - especially duct tape just a tiny bit, it makes using it next time waaaaayyyy easier.

Gorilla tape doesn't actually work on gorillas when they are covered in playa dust.

Don't forget the WD-40 or similar lubricant for when your bike seizes up or the zippers on any of your gear start to give you trouble, otherwise you may not be able to zip your tent door shut halfway through the week. I usually have trouble with at least one zipper every year, last year it was the supply/food/clothing tent that wouldn't close. At least I had spring clamps and the rain fly to cover it the rest of the week. Oh yeah, always have a plan "B", and maybe a "C" too!

The best way to make new friends on the playa is to take a page out of the canine book. Butt sniffing is a warm, friendly greeting that all will enjoy.

Rubbing playa dust into dirty hair and combing it out again is a good substitute for a shampoo and rinse.

It's probably too late for an appointment but ladies and gents, consider waxing as apposed to shaving out there. less muss and fuss :)

Believe it or not, one of those small flask-sized bottles of unopened, good whiskey will get you to the front of almost any line at BM.

(Gate and DMV are probably two of the few places this don't work. Trust me, they already got much better whiskey than your peddling).

Setting the Man on fire early has already been done. (Although, if some does do it, try to convince the folks who have been annoying you all week that Burning Man is over and they should leave now to avoid the Exodus rush.)

I have that exact doll, thus the reference.
Her height places her exactly where she needs to be.

If you pull the grips off your handlebars, you'll have a handy spot to stash jerky sticks.

I would recommend a silicon spray...doesn't stain or have the strong odor of WD-40.

chap stick works better on the zippers than either WD-40 or silicon spray, and it doesn't leave an oily stain along the seam of the zipper

Couldn't you just attach some bent rebar to a taller doll's knees so that she's in a bowing stance? That's how I ... I mean, that'd be one way to do it.

I'd heard soap. Worth bringing a small hotel bar???? I've got about a gazillion of those around the house.

Well the old-school classic zipper-fix is pencil graphite. Run a sharpened pencil along the zipper and you'll rub off graphite that will serve as lubricant.

That's twice in this thread I've recommended pencils. That's kinda weird.

That's right, and after you finish rubbing it on your dusty zipper.... gift it!
