Has Your Camp Been Placed Yet ??

Here is hoping the Hushers actually get some form of response from the Placement folks. We've been trying to get in touch with Placement since the announcements were sent out. We'd like to work out power sharing, etc. with our neighbor camps and have not been able to get a single reply from anyone in Placement. Has anyone else had similar problems this time around? Normally, they are helpful with letting you know what camps are immediately adjacent, without actually saying who is exactly where. Anyone else experiencing this disconnect this time? Seems weird to me.

I sent a question to Placement today that involved power sharing and I received a reply within an hour after I sent the question. At least someone was watching their list this afternoon.

Sigh... Not sure who else to send to. I only have the direct email of one Placer from our last few times and have had no luck there. No response yet from the generic [email protected] address either. Can you share who your placer is? Maybe in a PM?

I received a prompt reply from Placement today as well, using the generic Placement email address. I put our placer's name in the subject line along with our camp name. Your placer's name should be in the email that notified you of placement last week. Good luck!

Have sent 2 emails to the placement address and even one to our Placer from two years ago hoping for a response. Have had our camp name in the subject all three times, but admittedly, not the placer's name that was on our placement email. So I just tried again... we shall see.

Nah. Larry doesn't really get involved in placement issues as far as I know. Actually place-ing, maybe. Issues... not so much.

An update... I have received this evening, finally, a response from placement! Apparently our placer dropped suddenly from the organization and there is some shuffling to get others up to speed. I am asked to hang tight and be patient. At least I got some form of response. Yay!!

Thank you, Doc, for your kind offer. We have our Placement on the 3:00 Portal (Yay!), but have been unable to raise anyone in Placement since then to get any more specifics about neighbors, etc so we can work out power sharing and other stuff. I've always had a pretty quick response in the past for my requests, so the thundering silence this year was getting rather oppressive!
