Thank you!
Thank you!
Today, as my sweetie and I were designing our evaporation pond while putting together our shower structure, after yesterday finishing up our swamp cooler; I wondered where we would be without eplaya. We have built a solar system and squirreled away lip balms and flashlights and rebar, (with stuffed animals to cover them). I even bought a "P-style" and learned how to use it- we have covered the windows of our trailer with mylar and reenforced the center pole of our north pole party shade. We have bought boots, goggles, and masks. The list is very long. I have sewn floor cloths and stocked up on anchovies. Tomorrow I will order dry ice, and know to put 2x4s under the cooler on the playa.
2 years in the planning, this will be our first burn- and I have never been west of a quick visit to Denver, or ever experienced dry heat. Truly, it might as well be the moon we are visiting.
So thank you, eplaya! You all have helped me feel almost like I know what to do- all my questions have been answered here.
So excited that the time is getting close. See you all soon.... Thank you for being here and sharing your tips and tricks.

Neato! A well-prepared Birgin. I hope things go beyond exactly as planned. The best is when you find you were overprepared and can adjust accordingly.

Nice, I think you will earn the coveted sobriquet of "stealth virgin"
As I rolled in last year, to set up my hexayurt w/ swamp cooler, pull out my toolbox, set up my raised cooler covered with space blankets full of PBR, and unload my EL wire encrusted bike...
My neighbors asked me how long I have been going to burning man. It was priceless to be able to say, "oh about 45 minutes"
all thanks to the gracious folk here on eplaya.

Re: Thank you!
You are all certainly more than welcome. I hope you all come to the eplaya meet-n-greet to say hi in person.

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Hell yeah!
A virgin that says thank you for all the help tips and tricks.
They are few and far between.
